‘Sweet Home’ is a British and international supermarket in Lliria where you can find all your favourite British food brands. They sell many products, including Branston Pickle, Bisto Gravy, Colman’s Mustard, Patak’s Curry, Heritage, Blue Dragon Oriental food, Amoy Food, all types of biscuits, chocolates, and, of course, traditional pies, tea, cakes, sausages and bacon. They also have vegetarian brands including Quorn and Linda McCartney.

They have a wide range of Romanian, Bulgarian and Polish food and beers with brands like Raureni, Olimpia, Kimex, Zywiec, Tyskie…you must try the last one!

The ‘24/7 Valencia’ team, when visiting ‘Sweet Home Supermercado’, have found co-owner Maggie to be a wonderful, warm and informed host who speaks a good range of languages including English, Spanish and Polish. Before moving to Spain, she lived in England, so she is familiar with a number of cultures. We find that the prices are quite reasonable, too!

“For those of you planning to come to Lliria by car, Maggie has given us instructions to the store: “Exit the CV35 (Valencia to Ademuz) at Junction 23, Lliria/Vilamarxant. Head into Lliria, pass the Lidl supermarket, then go straight on (1st exit) at the roundabout. Follow the road to the ‘teapot’ roundabout, then take the first left and we are on the left(next to the children’s play area).”
