After a two-year absence from the stage, Valencian musician and composer Borja González-Ayllón returns with his solo project. The proceeds from this charity event, co-organised by the artist together with Sala Russafa, will go to the Plataforma del Voluntariat de la Comunitat Valenciana, which coordinates aid work for those affected by the DANA. Bob Lazy, the personal project of Valencian musician and composer Borja González-Ayllón, will return to the stage on Sunday 1 December to present the songs that will form part of his third studio album, Bob Lazy 3. The concert, whose proceeds will go to the Plataforma del Voluntariat de la Comunitat Valenciana to help the victims of the DANA, will take place at the Sala Russafa in Valencia, which is lending its space and participating as a co-organiser of this charity event.
Since his debut with ‘Rock | Love | Truth’, Bob Lazy has stood out for his classic pop style inspired by the 60s and 70s. With his second album, ‘La Vitti Bar’, he incorporated other influences, from new wave and British folk to the sounds of the 80s and 90s. Critics at the time highlighted the timelessness of Bob Lazy’s music and his ability to combine past and present in an introspective and detailed pop.
For the recording of Bob Lazy 3, González-Ayllón has once again surrounded himself with musicians of enormous solvency. The album has been produced by Paco Loco in his studios in Puerto de Santa María -just like the two previous albums- and has the arrangements of his collaborators, bassist Charlie Mysterio and guitarist Marcos Zoso (Yo Diablo). As a novelty, Madrid-born singer Roberta Gangui joins the band as a backing vocalist.
In his return to the stage after two years of absence, Bob Lazy will review the key songs of his previous works and will preview some of the songs from his next album, to be released in the coming months. He will be accompanied on stage by Lluisen Capafons (drums), Pablo Barrios (keyboards), Daniel Benedyto (guitars) and Xavi Gómez (bass).
The box office proceeds will go to the Plataforma del Voluntariat de la Comunitat Valenciana, a network of 166 non-profit organizations united by their altruistic social work to help those affected by the DANA.
To participate in the fundraising, just follow the ticket purchase process on the website of Sala Russafa, which will also enable a Fila 0 for those who can not attend the performance, but want to collaborate.
TICKETS are available online and at the box office. Doors will open at 18:30 hours: https://www.salarussafa.es/espectaculo/5/conciero-benefico-de-bob-lazy.html
