‘Sra. Tomasa’ play Valencia on 15 November…

One of the most groundbreaking and vibrant bands on the current music scene, ‘Sra. Tomasa’ announces the dates for the presentation of their long-awaited new album. After four years of intense work and tours in Mexico, Vietnam, Colombia and the United States, the result is ready to blow us away.

Ms. Tomasa has created their own sound universe, breaking all musical barriers: an explosive mix of Latin sounds with influences ranging from funk, reggae and hip-hop to trap, accompanied by more electronic sounds such as drum ‘n bass.

Their new album is fully influenced by their international tours: in 2021 they made their first tour of Mexico, which marked the beginning of a series of global musical adventures. Between 2022 and 2023 the band crossed the pond again with two tours of the United States, where they performed at the South by Southwest festival (Austin), Summerfest (Milwaukee), the Solstice Festival (Cleveland) and even at the prestigious Lincoln Center theatre (NY). They also made two trips to Colombia to perform at BIME BOGOTÁ, as well as at the multitudinous Salsa al Parque Festival. And finally, they completed two performances at the Hozo Music Festival in Vietnam.

All this international stage activity has positioned La Sra. Tomasa among the most exciting and exported young groups in Barcelona, with more than 40 live performances all over Europe and many more on the horizon.

These international experiences have also imbued their new album with a cultural richness and sonic diversity that reflect the musical landscapes of each place visited. Each performance and each country has left an imprint on his music, making this album a true celebration of their global journey.

The new album will arrive in the autumn and will mark the celebration of their 10-year career, with a catalogue of music that already has over 25 million plays on Spotify.
