‘Benedetterías’ is the dream of dancing via Mario Benedetti’s poetry through flamenco, a universal art that embraces everything. This show evokes a world where dance, music, theatre, image and poetry go hand in hand in an unforgettable journey through the Uruguayan master’s best-known poems. This tribute, full of gratitude, comes on the centenary of the birth of this great poet, an unbeatable occasion to celebrate the immortal legacy he has left us.

Directed by the Valencian dancer Ana Lloris, Anititrán Compañía Flamenca has the pleasure of sharing the valuable legacy that Benedetti has left us, accompanying generations and generations of readers in love with the daily life of his poetry, his proximity, his social commitment, his frankness, his luminous simplicity and his defence of joy!
