Convent Carmen: “For more than 400 years, what is now Convent Carmen was a place that was inaccessible to the public. Now, the old convent of San José and Santa Teresa has been transformed into a cultural leisure centre and a gastronomic market and will be a rather unique hotel…in the future.

 At the moment, ‘Convent Carmen’ is a place open to locals and to those who are visiting Valencia. The people who come here are creating a history of sorts. In our cultural space, we offer a monthly programme. Music, debate, healthy life, cinema and performing arts have a place, as well as workshops for children and family activities.

 Convent Carmen is also a space for good food. In the gastronomic market that occupies our garden of almost 2,000 square meters, we offer a wide choice with more than 100 dishes, which is distributed between La Lonja, the Calma Bar, the Street Food area, the Food House and the Vermutería. Ah! And our beverage container is always open, stop by and enjoy yourself here whenever you want.”
