From the heart of Valencia’s Marina Norte, the city’s summer nights are set to come alive this July as ‘FAR València’ brings an ambitious new music cycle to the waterfront. Running from July 9 to 31, it transforms the seafront promenade into an open-air stage, offering a programme that blends Spanish icons, international stars and the magic of the Mediterranean!

Each event provides a different experience, opening with the Argentine rapper ‘Trueno’ on July the 9^th and followed by ‘Fito Páez’, whose poetic rock has made him a legend in Latin America. The 11^th sees a double-billing of Mexico’s incendiary ‘Molotov’ and the experimental Andalusian collective ‘Califato ¾’. Not free until later in July? ‘Los Planetas’ and ‘La Plata’ take the stage on July the 17^th, bringing their indie and post-punk sounds to the Valencian coast, while the 25^th belongs to the vibrant fusion of ‘Los Manolos’ and the ‘G5’ supergroup. The festival even dedicates a night to club nostalgia with ‘Premier Remember’ on July the 26^th, before closing with the French singer ‘Zaz’ on July the 28^th.

But the most eagerly awaited date is on the 31^st of July, when Carlos Santana and his band bring their Oneness Tour to Marina Norte. With a career spanning more than five decades, this combined English & Spanish speaking artist’s appearance promises to be a highlight of the Valencian summer. Audiences can expect his unmistakable talent with the guitar, and a setlist full of timeless tracks like ‘Black Magic Woman’, ‘Oye Cómo Va’ and ‘Smooth’. Get your rock on at this beautiful seaside location!

FAR València’s philosophy is to create an accessible cultural event that reflects the city’s cosmopolitan character. General admission tickets start around 35-40 euros for most concerts, with premium seating and VIP options also available. Doors open well before showtime, inviting audiences to enjoy the marina’s sunset views before the music begins. The venue is easily reached by metro or bus, and minors can attend if accompanied by a legal guardian.
