FERIA DE JULIO (VALENCIA) 2025! (EXCLUSIVE REPORT)

After just one week, we’ve only just begun! Excursions, music, culture, and tournaments for the rest of the week in Valencia’s 2025 Feria de Julio (July Fair). No different to previous years, Valencia’s annual July fair provides free and accessible activities for all age groups, welcoming locals, expats and tourists alike. Whether you’re a pro at dominoes, are obsessed with Pirates, or love live music; the mid-summer Valencian evening has something for everyone. Hidden gems such as the sunset in Albufera (Embarcadero Gola de Pujol) can be discovered with transport for the price of a glass of tap water… 0 Euros!

Coming into the second week of July (7th), you can end your Monday in true Mediterranean fashion, by watching the beautiful Spanish sunset in one of Valencia’s must-visit natural parks (19:30h). Can’t make it? Don’t fear, as Feria de Julio offers this same excursion on Tuesday and Wednesday, so you don’t have to miss out on your Instagramable sunset fix!

After taking your free shuttle bus back into the city of culture, get in touch with your competitive side and enjoy the Truc, Parcheesi and Dominoes championships at the South Pavillion of the Palau Gardens (21:00h). Games not your thing? Or better yet, want to carry on the fun? Head up to the North Pavillion of the Palau Gardens (22:00h) and join ‘Don Mendo’ as he seeks revenge against the betrayal of his love ‘Magdelena’ in the classical Spanish tragicomedy La Venganza de Don Mendo.

Tuesday (July 8th) doesn’t lack in things to do either, with the North Pavillion of Palau Gardens hosting Dance for seniors “Duo brilliantina” (19:00h), and the Gala of monologues (22:00h). If you fancy some live music, Hostal Meson de Morella will be hosting the Choir “divisi cultural association” (19:30h).

Music lovers, meanwhile, get a real treat at Sala Iturbi with the internationally celebrated Michel Camilo & Tomatito at 19:30h, blending jazz piano with flamenco guitar in a way only they can. If you’re in the mood for music, head to Jardines del Real (Viveros) at 20:00h for the Nursery Concerts featuring María José Llergo, Marina Reche, and Moni Motes.

Wednesday (9th) rolls in with yet another sunset shuttle to Albufera at 19:30h, because let’s be honest, one sunset is never enough. For jazz enthusiasts, Julian Lage will take the stage at Sala Iturbi (19:30h); an absolute must-see for guitar lovers!

Got little ones? Or maybe you’re just a pirate at heart? Then set your course for the South Pavilion (20:00h) for a Pirate Story performance, perfect for all ages. At 21:00h, the Truc, Parcheesi, and Dominoes Championships continue, and for those looking for a late-night laugh, Ladies Show starts at 22:00h at the North Pavilion.

Kicking off on Thursday (10th) evening at 19:30h, enjoy family story telling at c/ Gregorio Gea (Les Tendetes)… a great opportunity to learn some Spanish and Valencian! Jazz enthusiasts who missed out on Wednesday’s event don’t have to have ‘FOMO’. Join the “Ester Andujar Group” and “Carles Denia & David Pastor) at Inner Songs at Sala Rodrigo (19:30).

If you’re a car buff, or just love to look at gorgeous vehicles, Barrio de La Trinidad hosts the Round of Antique Vehicles (20:00h) followed by the Blessing of Cars, Motorcycles and Bicycles at c/ Alboraya (20:15h), a must-see traditional Valencian event. For those beginning their weekend early at the start of “Juernes”, the Las WOT musical performance (21:30h) at c/ Gregorio Gea (Les Tendetes), round two of Nursery Concerts at Jardines del Real. Nurseries (22:00h), or A kiss and a flower; a tribute to the eternal voice, at the north pavilion of Palau Gardens (22:00h).

Friday (11th) opens with fun for families with “Javi Javichi” a clown and juggler, performing at Pl. Río Segura (Horno de Alcedo) from 19:00h. At Parc Central, (from 19:00h to 21:00h) kids and parents can enjoy storytelling, music workshops, and family play areas. For something a bit more theatrical, the Orchestra of Valencia will fill Sala Iturbi with the magic of Broadway Classics (19:30h)

Party like it’s 1999 with the Flower Power Pool Party at West Park Pool, running from 21:00h to 01:00h.

Elsewhere, comedy lovers can catch Óscar Tramoyeres performing his monologue (22:00h) in Horno de Alcedo, while over at the Palau Gardens, the pre-selections for the Fallera Mayor de València 2026 take over both pavilions.

Music-wise, Friday night promises a hit of nostalgia with Europe performing at 22:00h in Jardines del Real, while K-Si Jazz takes the spotlight at Parc Central (22:30h).

Saturday’s (12th) midday starts strong with Amores Percussion Group and other bands from the Valencia Musical Societies Coordinator performing at the Palau de la Música (12:30h). In the evening, jazz guitar legend Al Di Meola (Acoustic Trio) performs at Sala Iturbi (19:30h), while Parc Centralhosts hosts dance, workshops, and family fun (19:00h-21:00h).

Headlining the Nursery Concerts at 20:00h, it’s La La Love You, Sr. Aliaga, and Daniel Rodrigo. At 22:00h, the Fallera Mayor pre-selections continue, and by 22:30h, La Pelona takes the stage for a musical performance at Parc Central.

But the real showstopper? From 23:00h to 03:00h, a discomóvil party takes over Marqués de Valterra Square, and at 23:59h sharp, the sky above Monteolivete Bridge will burst into color with a spectacular fireworks show by Valencian pyrotechnics. It wouldn’t be truly Valencian without loud and colourful festivities!

As the week draws to a close, Sunday (13th) offers a relaxed but lively mix of activities. Start with a concert by the Unión Musical de Liria at 11:30h in Palau de la Música, followed by family magic with Magic Mazo at 19:00h in Pl. Santísimo Cristo (Nazareth).

Classical fans can unwind with the Soloists of the Orchestra of Valencia performing at Sala Iturbi (19:30h), while Parc Central (19:00h-21:00h) hosts live music and kids’ workshops. The final Nursery Concerts at 20:30h bring Álvaro de Luna and Bombai to Jardines del Real.

Evening entertainment continues with the last round of Fallera Mayor pre-selections (21:00h) and a comedy monologue by Rafa Alarcón and Pablo de los Reyes (21:30h) at Nazareth. Before you call it a night, don’t miss the Babalu Band’s lively set at Parc Central (21:45h), and for those who want to dance until the early hours, the Montecarlo Orchestra will be playing from 23:00h to 03:00h at Marqués de Valterra Square.

If you’re busy that week or are maybe planning to visit Valencia later in July… don’t fear! Faire de Julio carries on into the second half of July with events such as another shuttle bus excursion to Albufera on Monday 14th (19:30), the International music bands contest of the city of Valencia at Palau de la Musica (Thursday 17th – 16:00), and more!
