From the Ateneo Mercantil comes an outstanding ode to some of the best soundtracks of cinema history, a concert aptly named ‘Música de Cine: de Hollywood al Ateneo’. This June 27th at 19:00h, crowds will gather to enjoy the works of soundtrack geniuses Alan Silvestri, Ennio Morricone, Hans Zimmer, and John Williams, to name only a few. Performed by the Mediterranean Symphony Orchestra, the pieces will be selected from films that not only present excellent music but also have impacted generations of viewers and subsequent filmmakers. Conductor Juan Antonio Ramírez, who has brought his talents to Paris and Vienna, in addition to Valencia, brings the music from the films “Back to the Future”, “Life is Beautiful”, “Dances with Wolves”, “The Godfather”, and more, to the stage at The Ateneo Mercantil. You won’t want to miss this opportunity to experience live music that brings you back to some of the greatest moments of cinematic history.
