“Bossa nova”: a happy encounter between jazz swing and Brazilian samba in an intimate venue. A tribute to the musical collaboration between the American tenor saxophonist Stan Getz and the Brazilian guitarist and singer João Gilberto, whose iconic album “Getz/Gilberto” (Garôta de Ipanema, Desafinado, Corcovado) turned a local and minority style into a musical phenomenon throughout the world.
