ROOM, the adults only club that brings a new air of sophistication to Valencia’s nightlife. The aesthetic lines of the past and the future are intertwined in this space equipped with cutting-edge technology and an interior design inspired by the traditional clubs of cities such as New York, Tokyo and Berlin.The venue, located in the vicinity of La Cruz Cubierta, will hold its opening party on Saturday 7 September with DJ Carlos Esteve as guest. From this month, the city of Valencia will have a space for nightlife inspired by the luxury, elegance and warm and clandestine atmosphere of the most exclusive hotels and clubs in Paris, Berlin, London, Tokyo and New York.
The Valencian company Peatonal, S. L. will reopen its San Vicente Street venue on 7 September with a completely different concept. Located near the monument of La Cruz Cubierta in the Patraix neighbourhood, in the old Cream room, ROOM is not presented as a discotheque in the usual sense, but as an “adults only” club with a state-of-the-art acoustic design and a carefully designed interior that provides a sensory experience without analogous references in the city.
The aesthetic lines of the past and the future intertwine in this sophisticated space with high ceilings, gilded mirrored walls and polished marble floors reminiscent of the grand ballrooms of yesteryear. An atmosphere that contrasts with the visual effects created with robotic lights and LED backlit platforms.
In addition to the bar areas, one of which will be dedicated to cocktails, ROOM will have several VIP areas, for which a reservation system will be set up in advance.
On the dance floor, the music will cover a wide spectrum of genres that will evolve according to the timetable, from big hits to hip hop, afro-house and other electronic variations.
ROOM’s opening party will be held on Saturday 7 September with the presence of DJ Carlos Esteve and a dance and performance show that will run from 00:30h until 07:00h in the morning.
“We have spent a lot of time developing a nightlife venue that is both mysterious and exciting at the same time. A very technologically-advanced space, with a premium service, but at the same time with a nostalgic touch that would remind us of those elegant clubs that made the nights of Berlin or New York famous”, says José María Ochoa, in charge of ROOM and partner of the Cosmic Group, which also owns the Tulum lounge and the Mamma Pazzo restaurant, among other businesses.
“Another of ROOM’s main premises is undoubtedly the safety of the clientele and respect for the neighbours,” adds Ochoa. “For this reason, we will pay special attention to the policy of access to the venue, preventing, for example, entry wearing clothing that displays ideological or sporting messages or insignia that could be offensive or generate conflicts among the public. We want ROOM to be an essential reference in Valencia for those who are looking for a stimulating and fun atmosphere, but with distinction and elegance”.
