The highly prestigious ‘Time’ magazine included Valencia in World’s Greatest Places 2022 and announced that Valencia is the World Design Capital 2022. A culturally vibrant city on the southeastern coast of Spain, Valencia offers a wealth of treasures, with amazing architecture from the modern avant-grande landscape of the City of Arts and Sciences to historic treasures such as the Valencia Cathedral. You can also find one-of-a-kind urban spaces such as the beautiful Turia gardens, formally a riverbed running through the city.  Valencia is renowned as the birthplace of paella and offers innovative local cuisine, both traditional and modern, including a Michelin-starred restaurant with plant-based options for the selective traveller. With its many festivals, the city is always full of life, and hosts numerous events throughout the year, such as the internationally known Las Fallas (Les Falles), a local festival held in March. From its natural beauty and large array of breathtaking beaches to the many galleries and impressive museums, there are endless things to enjoy.  This is why Valencia has been recommended by ‘Time’ Magazine as a great place to visit.
