Startup Grind relaunches in Valencia with Outshinery founder Laurie Millotte on Dec. 11

Kickoff event highlights scaling a remote-first company, leadership, and work–life balance — with networking, pizza, and drinks included.

Startup Grind Valencia returns on Thursday, Dec. 11, 2025, with its kickoff event at Vortex Ciencias. The evening features a fireside chat with Laurie Millotte, founder of Outshinery, a company known for product imagery relied on by vineyards and beverage brands worldwide.

In conversation with Startup Grind Valencia host Matthias Flinterhoff, Millotte will share how she scaled Outshinery into a category-standard solution for product imagery, how she leads a distributed team, and what it’s like to build a business in an industry rooted in connection and community.

The event concludes with open networking. Pizza, drinks, and music are included in the ticket price. Tickets cost €20, with a discount available using code SGVLS25MTS.

About five years ago I hosted several lively Startup Grind events in Beijing with a fantastic team. Now I’m excited to restart the chapter in Valencia — the city I’ve gratefully called home for more than a year,” said Vitalii Bulyzhyn, Startup Grind Valencia Chapter Director. “We want to bring together international and Valencian entrepreneurs, freelancers, students, leaders, investors, and public organizations through long-format conversations in a warm atmosphere.
