THE VALÈNCIA CITY COUNCIL PROMOTES A NEW EDITION OF THE “VALENCIA AND THE HOLY GRAIL WAY” WORKSHOPS TO ENCOURAGE CULTURAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND TERRITORIAL DEVELOPMENT

The Department of Entrepreneurship supports this initiative by the International Association of the Cultural Itinerary of the Holy Grail Way of Europe, which invites business owners and citizens to discover how heritage can become an opportunity for innovation, cooperation, and sustainable growth. València, July 2026. During the month of July, the city of València will once again become a meeting point for heritage, business, and entrepreneurship thanks to a new edition of the “Valencia and The Holy Grail Way” Workshops. This initiative is driven by the International Association of the Cultural Itinerary of the Holy Grail Way of Europe, with the support of the València City Council through its Department of Entrepreneurship.

This institutional support highlights the municipal commitment to projects capable of transforming scientific knowledge, cultural heritage, and territorial identity into new opportunities for people, fostering entrepreneurship, innovation, and sustainable development.

The workshops are part of the municipal programme aimed at strengthening the economic and social fabric through innovative proposals that connect culture, tourism, research, and business.

Heritage that creates opportunities

Far from offering a purely historical vision of the Holy Chalice, these meetings demonstrate how ‘The Holy Grail Way’ can become a driver of development for municipalities, professionals, and businesses.

The proposal is based on a simple idea:

Heritage acquires its full value when it is capable of generating opportunities that dignify people’s lives and strengthen territories.

This philosophy inspires the entire programme, whose content addresses the transfer of scientific knowledge to society, cultural entrepreneurship, sustainable tourism, and cooperation between administrations, companies, and citizens.

As stated in the programme itself, the purpose is not only to highlight a cultural itinerary, but to create opportunities that dignify families, encourage local roots, and contribute to the balanced development of territories.

Furthermore, the following sessions will delve into how to transform heritage into knowledge, knowledge into opportunities, and opportunities into service for people and inland municipalities, reinforcing cooperation and shared hope.

The cycle will conclude by focusing on the fact that a territory’s greatest heritage is its people, promoting a sustainable development model based on culture, business collaboration, and the common good.

Three meetings to inspire new initiatives

During the month of July, three sessions will be held, specifically aimed at business owners, entrepreneurs, tourism professionals, cultural managers, and anyone interested in discovering new ways to generate value from cultural heritage.

The workshops will take place at the Galería CLC Arte (València) at C/ d’en Sala, 6 in Valencia, off Calle de la Paz, on the following days:

  • July 7
  • July 15
  • July 21

Each session will combine scientific outreach, practical experiences, and spaces for dialogue to promote projects capable of connecting heritage, innovation, and economic development.

A commitment to knowledge transfer

The International Association of the Cultural Itinerary of the Holy Grail Way of Europe, chaired by Dr. Ana Mafé García, has been working for years to turn the scientific knowledge generated around the Holy Chalice and The Holy Grail Way into a useful tool for society.

The goal is to promote a model in which academic research, cultural heritage, entrepreneurship, and institutional cooperation work together to create new opportunities for territories, especially those in the interior that seek to retain population, generate economic activity, and strengthen their cultural identity.

Because when knowledge is shared, heritage ceases to be merely a memory of the past and becomes an opportunity for the future.
