‘Centre Cultural La Beneficència’ encapsulates various museums within its spaces. It is home to the Museums of Prehistory and Ethnology and the Valencian Institute for Study and Research; it has specialist sections of Prehistory, Ethnology and Art! The ethnology museum, also now known as ‘L’ETNO’ has an exhibition that displays and describes the traditional rural customs and lifestyles of the region. The prehistoric side will teach you all about the most remarkable archaeological finds discovered in Valencia. Near the old river bed, this distinctive building was constructed in 1876 by Valencian architect Joaquín María Belda Ibáñez. It has been a space for museums and concerts since 1995.
From Tuesday to Friday from 10:00h to 20:00h, the entrance costs €2 with a reduced rate of €1.
Admission is completely free on weekends and holidays!
