‘FESTIVAL NOCHES MAGICAS’ THIS SUMMER

On Saturday 3rd August ‘Festival Noches Magicas’ hosted an ‘80s Summer Party’ at the Jardines De Abril.  The gardens are located in San Joan (Alicante) and are a stunning location for a festival. Fairy-lit trees, hidden bars, art installations, food trucks, live performances and a main stage area all give the atmosphere of being in a fairy tale. Three of Spain’s finest pop acts form the 80s entertained the capacity crowd – ‘Javier Ojeda’, ‘Celtas Cortos’ and Valencia’s mighty ‘Seguridad Social.’

Javier Ojeda opened the main stage and soon had the crowd singing along to classics including ‘Sin Aliento’ and ‘Sabor De Amor’. He was followed by ‘Celtas Cortos’ who treated us to a trip down memory lane with their folk music inspired pop sound and many of their more recent Celtic infused songs.

Heading the night was the mighty ‘Seguridad Social’ – Jose Manual Casan bursting onto stage with his trademark sunglasses, top hat and walking cane and performing with the energy most people our age can only dream of! ‘Quiero Tener Tu Presencia’ and ‘Mi rumba tarumba’ sent the crowd wild and the next hour was a visual and auditory treat of epic proportions. A four track encore ended the live music for the night, but the party continued with 80s classics well into the early hours.

‘Festival Noche Magias’ have five more events at the Jardines De Abril this season, you can find out more on their website. A stunning location, happy people, chilled party vibes and great music… what’s not to like?
