‘GREEN MILK FROM THE PLANET ORANGE’ (JAPAN) AND ‘VERANO INFINITO’ (VLC) ON OCTOBER 14TH AT ‘16 TONELADAS’!

On Monday 14th October at 16 Toneladas, CUB presents ‘Green Milk from the Planet Orange’, a Japanese progressive rock band from Tokyo, far from the post-horror drift that can be associated with this musical category. Listen to the remaster of their latest album, ‘City Calls Revolution’, and believe yourself tasting a niguiri prepared at Robert Fripp’s house in 1974 with considerable & irate wasabi. That is… until you manage to give it a psychotropic punk flavour with spicy vocal touches that are sharp on the palate but that surprise the taste buds … until they arrive on ‘Planet Orange’ to discover a new umami!

On this planet, by geographical convolution of signals, besides King Crimson’s Red, bands from Flower Travellin’ Band to Acid Mothers Temple could also be mentioned. They’ve got prog, they’ve got heavy and they’ve got psych. And they’re live, having toured the US, Europe and Japan several times. They will spend September and October touring China and Europe, they will have a proud stop in Valencia and it will surely be the best possible niguiri to start the week.

They will be accompanied by the Valencians ‘Verano Infinito’, who tell us they sound like Can, Triana, Spacemen 3, T.B.J.M, Loop, Föllakzoid, Allah-Las… where Juan Carlos Soro (Supersónicos, Arreu), David Vivó (Cabalgata Cósmica, Gigante) and David Gironés (Mr. Vértigo, Velocista) play.
