– The Valencian quartet, one of the leading groups on the national indie-rock scene, presents their album ‘CREAR’ on Friday the 24th in the Auditori. – Les Arts is hosting this cycle until the 9th of February, which aims to give a panoramic view of the leading sounds and groups on the Valencian circuit. The Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía opens the third edition of ‘Les Arts és Musiques Valencianes’, with the performance of the renowned Valencian quartet ‘La Habitación Roja’, one of the leading groups on the national indie-rock scene, this Friday, the 24th of January 2025, at 7:30 pm in the Auditori.

As a letter of presentation in Les Arts, Jorge Martí (vocals and guitar), Pau Roca (guitar), Marc Greenwood (bass) and José Marco (drums) will perform songs from their most recent work, ‘CREAR’’, the fourteenth album in their almost 30-year career, in which the Valencian band, with their melancholic melodies, introspective lyrics and evocative guitars, pay tribute to their mothers:

“The unconditional love and support that our mothers exude contrasts with all the superficiality and the excessive cult of image and youth that bombards us and that always leaves aside the women who, not only have given us life, but who have preserved and encouraged us since they gave birth to us”.

CREAR, explain the members of the Valencian band, is a vindication of “experience, maturity, trajectory, determination to move forward with your projects and your own”.

The cycle ‘Les Arts és Músiques Valencianes’ will cover three weeks of the Valencian programme, from the 24th of January to the 9th of February, with a line-up that also includes performances by Doña Manteca, La Plata, Novembre Elèctric and Andreu Valor.
