‘LOVE TO ROCK’ BIDS FAREWELL TO ITS FIFTH EDITION WITH 18,000 ATTENDEES AND AN EXPANDED PROGRAMME!

Three stages, 15 DJs, 18 bands and 5 Michelin Star chefs have participated in the biggest edition in the history of the festival. ‘Love to Rock’ maintains its commitment to offer the greatest comfort to its attendees together with a quality musical and gastronomic programme. In addition, the grandstand area, the VIP area with views of the La Marina canal, the carefully designed ‘Love to Food’ gastro area and a space for the little ones in ‘Love to Kids’, are also hallmarks of the event. For the second consecutive year, all the tickets have been sold out and the maximum capacity has been reached. Love to Rock bids farewell to its fifth edition with a positive balance and consolidates its position as the festival of reference for autumn in Valencia.

Located in La Marina de Valencia, Love to Rock has grown this year with an additional stage that adds value to the Love to Food gastro area, and with a continuous programme on Saturday from early to late hours, thus reinforcing the morning’s proposal. 18,000 people passed through the venue over the two days to enjoy the event’s most extensive programme to date: 3 stages (Darsena, Pérgola and Gastro), 15 DJs, 18 bands and 5 Michelin-starred chefs.

‘Love to Rock’ wants to give value to the DJs and that is why they are important in its programme, both with their own set and to liven up the moments between concerts and to keep the music going. On Friday, Mr. Fly, Bita, Don Fluor, Giorgio Bonetti, Fat Gordon, Obtuso and Sugar Mami made the audience dance. The performances by Niños Mutantes, who said goodbye to the Valencian public after decades of history, and Dorian, who had a surprise guest appearance by Second, were particularly moving. In addition, established bands such as La Habitación Roja and Sidecars filled the night with emotion from the main stage and Helen Helen and Bernal did the same from the gastro area. At Love to Food, in addition to the Maillard grill experts and the Foodtrucks, chef Begoña Rodrigo and chef Germán Carrizo brought their haute cuisine to the take away format with the aim of offering quality food in the setting of a music festival.

On Saturday, the activity began very early with Mr. Fly, Obtuso and Second DJs and the performances of Himnoticos, Tatuaje, Aiko el Grupo, Shego and Mujeres who set the mood for the vermouth hour, the latter with a Pérgola full to the brim. In the afternoon, in the DJ section, Mario Oldies, Toxicosmos, Fat Gordon, Fran Leaners B2B Víctor Ollé and Colin Peters took over; and in the evening, it was the turn of Ángel Stanich, Rufus T. Firefly, La La Love You, Ginebras, Depresión Sonora, Sidonie and La Casa Azul, who led the closing of the festival and the great final party by Inmir. Love to Food was led by chefs Alejandra Herrador and Roseta Félix, chef Germán Carrizo, and once again the Maillard grill experts, as well as the Foodtrucks.

With the closing of this edition, Love to Food remains faithful to its proposal to provide attendees with a global experience where they can enjoy a musical programme of varied styles and for all audiences, with the participation of new talents, established artists and a selection of the best DJs from inside and outside the city, together with a quality gastronomic area in the environment of a music festival, all in a comfortable space and in an iconic area of the city by the sea, which also offers privileged views of the canal and the sunset from the VIP Darsena area. The profile of the festival continues to be for the whole family with the Love to Kids area, this year with more activities for the little ones than in previous years.

All the information about the sixth edition will soon be available on lovetorockfestival.es and the festival’s social networks.
