The Ruzafa neighbourhood in Valencia is set to host an exciting weekend on October 28 and 29. The schedule is packed with diverse activities. Saturday begins with the Ruzafa Symphony Orchestra rehearsal at 11.00 a.m., followed by a community storytelling route at noon. La Magrana, a Valencian dance group, takes the stage at 1.00 p.m., with DJ Miss Pimm’s and Mister Crossfaker keeping the energy alive at 1.30 p.m. Storytelling and a kids’ “Trick or Treat” session continues in the afternoon. As evening falls, the Parade of Souls, featuring various groups, sets off at 6.00 p.m. followed by on-stage performances.
Sunday features chess in the park at 11.00 a.m., a soulful concert by Lluís Vicent & the Free & Feeling’ Band at noon, and a social and community workshop at 12.45 p.m. DJs Soumzz and Frankie keep the groove going at 1.30 p.m. Later, there is a Toni Carrión Concert at 5.45 p.m. The day continues with a debate on Palestine at 6.30 p.m., a Denal Duo Concert at 7.00 p.m., a performance by the Blue Natifahs Women’s African Dance Federation at 7.45 p.m., and DJ Mister Crossfaker’s beats at 8.30 p.m. Join in the fun and cultural exploration in the heart of Ruzafa!
