Rex and the twists and turns of British folk. From beatifying Lou Reed to improvising on the earthy rock of the Silver Bullet Band and the spirit of the Kinks. All on an LP for Jack White’s label, III Man Records, which doesn’t usually fail in its artistic flair. Silver Synthetic might be rock n’ roll formalists, but they are rather minimalists focusing on the essentials of their legacy. Country, Indie, Pop, Rock ‘n’ Roll.
