‘TABERNA LOS GÓMEZ’ PRESENTS ITS WINTER MENU, WHERE SPOON DISHES TAKE CENTRE STAGE!

Located in both Calle Correos and Calle San Vicente, the establishment is preparing for the new season with a commitment to classic recipes. Valencian stew, arròs amb fesols i naps or oxtail are some of the dishes that have been added to the menu to face the colder months.

When the temperatures drop and winter comes knocking at the door, there is nothing like taking refuge in a spoon dish. The flavours that bring us back to the warmth of home have always been very present in the restaurants of Los Gómez, a restaurant group under which different prestigious brands coexist in the city -Puerta del Mar, Taberna Los Gómez, La Picaeta or Gran Mercat-, but where the common element is the love for the trade and the commitment to lifelong gastronomy. In tune with this spirit, Taberna Los Gómez, located in Calle San Vicente and Calle Correos, presents a winter menu, available from this week, which is a tribute to traditional cuisine and invites you to reconnect with the gastronomy that nourishes the soul and comforts the body. It is a cuisine that which we have inherited from past generations.

Among the specialities of the new proposal, there are stews and rice dishes that are recognisable to everyone, and prepared according to the customs of this very familiar catering saga. Each of the new dishes has been carefully selected, based on the preferences of customers over the years.

This is how we come to the best Spanish classics, with an emphasis on spoon dishes that respect tradition and stand out for the quality of their ingredients.

Valencian stew: A recipe that captures the soul of the land. You no longer have to wait for a special occasion to enjoy it, because we serve it here every day.

Arròs amb fesols i naps: The sweet rice dish that showcases the rich produce of the Valencian vegetable garden, a tribute to our roots.

Braised pinto beans with oxtail: One of those classics that require a long elaboration in the casserole, until all the flavours are well integrated and the palate is delighted.

Braised oxtail with truffle sauce: Irresistible textures and aromas.

Ossobuco: Slow-cooked for a unique carnivorous experience.

Here, you will find a comforting atmosphere in every sense of the word. At ‘Los Gómez’, every dish denotes respect for traditional gastronomy and local produce. With a careful selection of fresh ingredients and culinary techniques that maintain the essence of the traditional dishes, the restaurant seeks to offer its customers a memorable experience. “This winter, I wanted to pay homage to the tradition of our spoon dishes, giving them a modern twist, but without losing their essence. It’s like a return to grandmother’s recipes, but with a fresh look to the future”, says Karla Chápero, R&D chef at Los Gómez, creator of this winter proposal.

As we were saying, the new winter menu is already available in the two locations of Taberna Los Gómez: Los Gómez Correos, located in Calle Correos, 10, and Los Gómez San Vicente, in Calle San Vicente, 3. Both offer a warm and cosy atmosphere, where symbols of the Valencian imaginary are displayed, and a close and familiar service. This makes them the perfect place to enjoy lunch and dinner in the company of friends, family or colleagues, now that the season of reunions is approaching. Spoon by spoon, ‘Los Gómez’ continues to be a benchmark of hospitality in the city of Valencia.
