A new one-of-a-kind exhibit has opened in a central location in Valencia, with original and replica props from your film favourites. Discover the intricacies of real clothing worn by famous actors from Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Forrest Gump, and many more!

The Ateneo Mercantil in Valencia is currently hosting “Tesoros de Hollywood,” a high-profile exhibition that brings the magic of American cinema to Spain through a remarkable collection of original props and authenticated autographs. Curated by collector Carlos Chardí, the exhibit features more than 50 film-used objects and over 100 autographs from some of the most influential figures in the history of Hollywood.

Among the most eye-catching items are Indiana Jones’s signature hat and whip, Rocky Balboa’s boxing gloves, the cape and mask from Batman, and a rare original poster from the film Grease bearing the signatures of its lead stars. The exhibit is divided into genre-specific zones, allowing visitors to explore the world of action, science fiction, horror, boxing, fantasy, and superheroes in a thematic and immersive way!

Signatures from iconic actors add weight to the exhibition’s cultural value. Harrison Ford, whose Indiana Jones gear is on display, is one of the most prominent names featured. The exhibit also includes autographs from Mark Hamill, known for his role in Star Wars, and Sylvester Stallone, represented through memorabilia from the Rocky franchise. Michael J. Fox and Johnny Depp are also present in the autograph section, with props associated with their most famous roles.

Other notable signatures include Tom Hanks, John Travolta, and Olivia Newton-John, the latter two linked directly to the signed Grease poster. Superhero fans will recognise the names of Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, and Andrew Garfield, who portrayed Captain America, Thor, and Spider-Man, respectively. Horror is represented through Robert Englund, the actor behind Freddy Krueger. Perhaps the most historically significant signature on display is that of Walt Disney, whose impact on global entertainment remains unmatched.

Each autograph on display has been authenticated by major certification bodies including JSA, Beckett BAS, and PSA/DNA, ensuring the collection’s credibility, alongside a slideshow showing the artefacts being signed by stars in action! The attention to detail and level of curation transform the exhibit from a standard memorabilia display into a dynamic experience that blends nostalgia with educational insight.

Beyond the static displays, the exhibition also offers guided tours, film screenings, and special workshops designed for students and young filmmakers. Organisers have reported strong attendance since opening day and have expressed confidence that the exhibit will become a major cultural draw for both locals and tourists.

“Tesoros de Hollywood” will remain open to the public through the autumn. With original props and signatures from actors such as Harrison Ford, Sylvester Stallone, Johnny Depp, and even Walt Disney, the exhibit offers an unparalleled look at the artistry and legacy of American cinema.
