“Caleidoscopias” perfectly describes the exhibition of empowered women by Inocencia García-Casas, which brings together recognisable figures drawn with strength. This exhibition, recently inaugurated at ‘Cervezas del Mercado’ by BWK, will remain until September 26 (2023) and will leave a trail of feminine brushstrokes throughout the summer in the Mercado de Colón.
The exhibition is made up of a series of works in which, through a game of rapid brushstrokes of different thickness, colour and tone, the figure of the woman is extolled. This empowerment of the recognisable Venus of Samothrace or of other anonymous women, is outlined in each work by the energy that she exudes and that undoubtedly surrounds her. Likewise, in all the paintings, the artist focuses on the expression of the senses, whether with the brush or with the stroke of the pastel. In short, the unifying thread of the project as a whole is thus articulated: the empowerment of the woman who emerges from her own inner being.
About the artist:
Inocencia García-Casasas’s artistic career began in 1984 when she started studying Fine Arts, and even before graduating she participated in several group and solo exhibitions in Valencia. In 1991, she changed direction to devote herself exclusively to teaching, transmitting her passion for art to new generations. She currently combines his teaching activity with her work in the association Culturarte, with which he is preparing a tribute to Sorolla that will be inaugurated at the end of this exhibition.

They are also working intensively on the introduction and marketing of craft beers from the Valencian Community. A good example has been the development and implementation of the Valencian Craft Beer® concept.
