The Valencia International Film Festival, Cinema Jove, is beginning on June 19th and ending on the 28th. Every year, the Conselleria d’Educació Cultura hosts this massive event to showcase young directors and filmmakers. FIAPF accredited in the category of “Specialised Competitive Festivals”, Cinema Jove shows tons of movies, series, and more, to get the word out about the films.
There are five sections that the movies are sorted by: long- or short-films, audiovisual meetings for young people, Òrbites, and the non-competitive sections: La Luna, High School, and “El joven, La Joven”. The films will be shown in different venues across Valencia, including CCCC Centre del Carme Cultura Contemporània, Colegio Mayor Rector Peset, Edificio Rialto, Espai Turia, La Fábrica de Hielo, Octubre CCC, Oficinas Cinema Jove, and the Teatro Principal.
