‘NUVÓ’ ARRIVES, THE SOPHISTICATED RESTAURANT AT THE HOTEL ‘ONE SHOT PUERTA RUZAFA’ FOR MULTIDISCIPLINARY EVENTS!

Halfway between a rooftop bar and a wine bar, this is a multifunctional concept, offering a gastronomic experience for every time of day. It’s open continuously from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., Monday to Sunday. Located on the hotel’s ninth floor, it boasts an elegant and contemporary interior, making it the perfect venue for presentations and private events, as well as celebrations and other social gatherings.

A new multifunctional space has just opened its doors atop the Hotel One Shot Puerta Ruzafa (Colón, 2), and it will soon become the epicentre of events and social gatherings in the city of Valencia. From casual meals and after-work drinks to cultural events, workshops, pop-ups, and presentations. Nuvó is a dynamic and unique meeting point, open every day of the week from 7 am to 11 pm – except for private event days. It also boasts a large capacity of up to one hundred people and a diverse culinary offering, adapted to different times of day.

This is the restaurant of the Hotel One Shot Puerta Ruzafa, located on one of Valencia’s main commercial and social thoroughfares: Calle Colón, 2. However, Nuvó doesn’t aim to be seen as a classic restaurant, instead positioning itself somewhere between a rooftop bar and a wine bar, given its more informal atmosphere. Entry is free, although reservations can be made via Instagram or, for events, by emailing eventos@arribamar.es. In this way, it seeks to surprise both hotel guests and locals passing through the city center. It’s the perfect meeting place to take a break from shopping or simply unwind from the day with a fresh perspective.

In this regard, Nuvó partner José Tomás explains that with the new space, “we aim to cater to both individuals and businesses. Being located in such a central part of the city is ideal for those who have little time to unwind. At Nuvó, you can come up for half an hour, have a drink, or enjoy a quality breakfast, lunch, or dinner.” José Tomás hopes that, in the long term, Nuvó can become a hub where the culinary offerings of other restaurants he already works with in Valencia, such as Barrafina, Hiro, and Q Tomas, can converge.

The new space was designed by Alejandra Pombo. The Madrid-based interior designer has a distinctive creative and elegant style in the design of high-end restaurants, hotels, and residences, both in Spain and internationally. Nuvó features an indoor area with luxurious sofas and comfortable seating areas where you can relax and enjoy a glass of wine or a cocktail to unwind for a few hours. It also boasts a terrace with remarkable views of the city. The terrace is open daily from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM, and until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays.

Beyond food and drink, this space aims to be a place where leisure flows naturally. However, it’s also important to highlight the breadth of its menu, mostly designed for sharing. Hence the variety of tapas and small plates, such as gildas (anchovy, olive, and pepper skewers), pickled mussels, Iberian cured meats, and cheese boards (both national and international), as well as croquettes, Russian salad, potato omelet, and chicken cannelloni with yellow chili béchamel sauce. It’s also worth noting that Nuvó offers a breakfast buffet for €20.

We call Nuvó a wine bar because another of its distinctive features is its extensive wine cellar, boasting a wide selection of national and local appellations. In keeping with its elegant and sophisticated character, it offers an ambitious selection of sparkling wines, including champagnes from various brands such as Moët & Chandon, Veuve Clicquot, and Krug Ruinar.

A brand with multiple allusions

Nuvó is born from the word “nine,” referring to the ninth floor of the Hotel One Shot Puerta Ruzafa where it is located. Furthermore, the space itself is an invitation to look up, to seek new perspectives, and to experience life from a different level. Inspired by the delicacy and refinement of Art Nouveau, an artistic movement that transformed the everyday into something extraordinary through curved forms and subtle details, the brand was conceived by the renowned designer Modesto Granados. Its identity evokes curves, elegance, suggestion, and leaves room for interpretation.

Therefore, this is not just a restaurant, but a place where a multitude of scenarios can unfold. Its dining room and terrace allow for the organization of events such as weddings, markets, fairs, birthdays, or anniversaries in the heart of Valencia. In fact, the activity has already begun, and Nuvó recently hosted an evening gathering with tour guides where a dozen people enjoyed cocktails from one of the areas with the most privileged views in the city. In addition, the General Hospital of Valencia organized a farewell party for its residents, who enjoyed dinner inside and, later, cocktails on the rooftop. These are just two examples of the countless possibilities at Nuvó.

Nuvó’s tapas are designed to be shared at any time of day.

Nuvó is a unique experience to elevate the level of hedonism from the ninth floor of the Hotel One Shot Puerta Ruzafa. It has just opened its doors and is eager to host large events and celebrations for companies and individuals. Elegance and sophistication merge in this new space, which elevates the center of Valencia to new heights.
