##What was once an old factory for gold and silver thread has now been transformed into a buzzing and stimulating hub for creative and professional minds to station their work. This regenerated space, which was refurbished by Valencian based architect José Costa in 2019-2020, has retained much of the factory’s old charm and character. Upon entering the renovated factory, you are greeted with the inviting and cosy Café de CO that is attached to the front of the coworking space WayCO Abastos. Café de CO is open to both coworkers and the public, meaning everyone is welcome. Customers can enjoy breakfast, lunch or afterworks at the cafe, with the option to bring their laptops and work in the space too.

The broad menu means customers can choose to have a main meal, a light snack, or even just a drink, with alcoholic options also available. The free Wi-Fi and multiple large tables make it the perfect working cafe for a change in environment or for some out-of-hours work. The collaborative nature and philosophy of WayCO has influenced Café de CO, making it an ideal place to meet like-minded people and make long lasting connections. The space prides itself on its international advantage with over 20 nationalities using WayCO, and so consequently utilising Café de CO’s working space, so international links can be made here over coffee and pastries.

The stylish cafe also showcases some local art displaying the vibrancy and main attractions of the city, making it as ideal for tourists as it is for locals. Additionally, in a large conference room through the WayCO doors and next to the cafe, a range of events, such as theatrical productions and suchlike are often held.

With the recent relaxation of Valencia’s COVID restrictions, customers are now able to enjoy Café de CO from 8:30h to 21:30h on Monday to Friday… meaning it will now be open at whatever time is suitable for you.
