Valencia is getting ready to welcome a high-level tango show at the legendary ‘Café Mercedes Jazz’, which resumes its programme with a first-class artistic programme. In this new season, the venue will be the stage for great performances in different musical genres, starting this Friday 25 October with a special evening starring outstanding Argentinian artists. From Argentina, we will be joined by Analía Bueti and Juan Esteban Cuacci, a duo that promises to take us to the heart of the barrios of Buenos Aires with their music. Analía Bueti, tango singer and artistic director, has been awarded the Marca País ‘Argentina en el Mundo’ distinction for her exceptional work in the dissemination of this genre declared Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. At her side will be Juan Esteban Cuacci, renowned pianist, composer and arranger, who has been named Outstanding Personality of Culture by the Legislature of Buenos Aires, due to his vast musical career.

They will present their successful concert: ‘Después amar, después partir… Intimando Tangos’.

Together they will perform a select repertoire of tangos, waltzes and milongas that,  with their quality and delicacy, will not leave any audience indifferent.

Their performance will be an authentic immersion in the poetry and the feeling of tango, in an intimate and captivating atmosphere.

In addition, this special evening will feature the participation of the bandoneonist Monono VH, who arrives directly from Buenos Aires to accompany what will be some of the most emotional moments of the evening, providing the characteristic bandoneon that defines the essence of tango.

On 26 October, you can enjoy a night of Jazz with the duo –‘Jordi Gaspar’ and ‘Santi de La Rubia’ presenting their work ‘REINICI’ and as part of the performances included in EN VIU.

Both are regulars in the world of jazz and now they find themselves with this repertoire of originals and with a particular combination of acoustic bass guitar and tenor saxophone.

Each piece has a story. For example, Reinici is a turning point, the moment to close stages and leave space to start new things. to start new things.
