‘The Terminal Hub’, Valencia’s cutting-edge innovation centre located in La Marina, has reached a major milestone– six months of operation with 80% occupancy. Terminal Hub is currently hosting 81 companies including major global companies, such as IBM which returns to Valencia after a 30 year hiatus, and IE Business School, which returns after 7 years. Solidifying its space as the leading innovation space not only in Valencia, but also in Spain, Terminal Hub has released a video to celebrate its success.
The video highlights Valencia’s deep-rooted tradition and future thinking mindset. It features key local figures who are vital to preserving Valencia, while also innovating for the future, such as Juan José Aleixandre, the last carpenter dedicated to restoring Albufera boats, and Vicente Sancanuto Dasí, whose family has preserved the region’s rice-farming legacy while expanding into tourism.
The Terminal Hub is driven by a group of visionaries, including Quique Calabuig, Ángela Pérez, Isabel Úbeda, Iker Marcaide, and Ricardo Orts. Their mission extends beyond attracting talent; they aim to create a space where excellence and innovation lead to new opportunities that benefit society.
CEO Quique Calabuig emphasizes the hub’s role as a bridge between past and future, stating, “We must look to the future while honouring the past, taking pride in belonging to a Valencian culture that blends tradition and innovation.” President Ángela Pérez echoes this sentiment, highlighting the hub’s welcoming environment for visionaries.
The short film was directed by Gino Russo and Oscar Rivero, designed and edited by Estudio Furioso, and produced by the Voga agency.
