The flames of your heart burn fiercer and fiercer, an excitement fills your brain as you think back to the previous year’s burning of fallas and all the festivities celebrating the hard work of our many beloved carpenters. Maybe you haven’t seen Fallas yet. You may have just chanced upon some news articles at some point on your travels. Curiosity cannot cut the mustard any longer, but fret not, relief is at hand!
Those looking forward to the much anticipated event in every Valencian’s calendar needn’t wait any longer. The well-known Spanish beer company Mahou is lighting the metaphorical fires of Fallas this year with a yet to be announced but much hyped musical programme with pop rock artists and DJ’s taking place at the Viveros gardens. The best thing, it’s free!
Many local bars will be offering their own special lunches to bolster the occasion including Bar Mistela, Grupo Gastro Trinquet, La Aldeana, Nuevo Oslo, La Mesedora, Hundred and Bar Cassalla. Furthermore, to mark the coming of this special occasion, Hundred Burgers and Bar Cassalla have joined forces to create the first ultimate lunchtime burger to be served with the finest Spanish beers and music to court you with the holy trifecta of what humans were put on this Earth to do. But wait, there’s more! To add to the gastronomic, liquid and auditory delights there will be a space where one can express themselves to the fullest extent with special make-up and hairstyling areas.
The Mahou Casal Viveros will be primarily taking place across the 23rd, 24th and 25th February in the Viveros Gardens (Jardins del Real). The Viveros gardens can be found at C/ de Cavanilles, 1, La Saïdia, 46010 València
