Radio City Valencia is one of the city’s most iconic live music venues, located in the heart of El Carmen. Since its inception in 1979 as Valencia’s first juice bar, it has evolved into a cultural hub renowned for its eclectic programming and diverse audiences. The venue attracts locals and international visitors alike, offering a space where music, art, and community effortlessly intersect.
This week, Radio City presents a full lineup of live performances featuring a diverse range of genres, including flamenco, reggae, hip-hop, and funk. On Tuesday, July the 22nd, at 22:30h, the stage hosts a flamenco night featuring Irene Ibáñez, Juanma Maya, and Ángel de la Santa, a tradition that has been part of the venue for over two decades.
Wednesday, July the 23rd, at 22:30h brings the Reggae Live Session, a midweek event with El Papado and guest artists delivering classic and contemporary reggae sounds.
On Friday, July the 25th, at 22:30h, 4Shots leads a hip hop jam session infused with soul and R&B. With thirty instrumentals to choose from, the emphasis will be on improvisation and audience participation. Advance tickets are available.
Saturday, July the 26th, at 22:00h features a Latin Reggae Tribute presented by BamBam Entertainment VLC. The Golden Lions Band and guest vocalists will perform hits from Gondwana, Dread Mar I, Cultura Profética, and Los Cafres.
The week concludes on Sunday, the 27th, at 9:00 pm with the Funked Up Sundaze Jam. Put those euros back in your wallet for this free-entry event; bringing together top-level musicians for an evening of improvised funk, neo-soul, hip hop, and whatever inspiration strikes on stage.
