Located within Valencia’s Modern Art Museum, the exhibition Against The Tide – Half a Century of Valencian Female Artists(1929-1980), recreates the rigorous course in which Valencian female artists have undertaken in order to become prevalent in the artistic sphere of Spanish culture. The exhibit includes work of artists such as Amparo Segarra, Juana Francés, plus many more, and is a vibrant, powerful exhibition that will undoubtedly start a fire underneath the shoes of women and men alike!
