RENOWNED ‘DEEJAYS’ DINE AT ‘VAQUETA GASTRO MERCAT’ (VALENCIA)

Before their highly anticipated performance at the closing of the Medusa Festival, renowned DJs Nervo, Faraone and Urisabat enjoyed a meal at the ‘Vaqueta Gastro Mercat’ restaurant, part of the Gastro Trinquet Group, in the heart of Valencia.

The artists Nervo, the Australian sister duo Miriam and Olivia Nervo, and the DJ and producer Faraone, recognized for his techno style, along with the young Spanish talent Uri Sàbat, took advantage of their time in the city to savour the most representative dishes of Mediterranean cuisine.

During the meal, they ordered the famous bunyol de l’Albufera, a tribute to the region’s culinary traditions, notable for its combination of smoked allipebre, torched eel, roasted garlic cream, flaked almonds, and a final touch of suquet. This dish, which won the Tapas d’Ací competition organized by Hostelería Valencia, has won over palates with its unique flavor. They also enjoyed two rice dishes: arroz del Senyoret and the traditional Valencian paella, dishes that reflect the gastronomic essence of the region.

Vaqueta Gastro Mercat, known for its innovative gastronomic offerings based on fresh, seasonal ingredients, continues to be one of the city’s top spots for enjoying Valencian cuisine. This isn’t the first time international artists have chosen this restaurant ahead of a major event: in June, the band Crystal Fighters was also seduced by its culinary offerings ahead of their performance at the Valencia Arts Festival.
