SUMMER NIGHTS FOR FINE DINING & LIVE MUSIC AT HOTEL & RESTAURANT 'MONTSTANT' (XÀTIVA) • 24/7 Valencia

From the top of the highest mountain in Xàtiva, with a castle steps away, ‘Hotel & Restaurante Montstant’ opens with the long-awaited Summer Concert Cycle.The programme starts with an evening that combines live music, gastronomy, and stargazing, a truly mesmerising location in the Valencian Community! The programme combines signature cuisine by Chef Carlos Beltrán, with a live performance from the Valencian group Canciller, and a scientific outreach experience led by physicist José Luis Oltra. Throughout July, Montsant will host new musical events – on the 11^th, 18^th and 25^th – with artists such as Ana Zomeño, The Covers Unmasked, and Los Saitis.

Each night will provide a different and unique menu, designed specifically for the occasion at hand, and seeks to offer an accessible cultural experience, connected to the region and also designed for a young audience. The opening evening unfolds in several acts. Guests start with an outdoor welcome cocktail accompanied by Canciller’s live set, with bites like ceviche de corvina, jamón airbag, Montsant’s signature gazpacho, and foie macarons. This leads into a carefully curated menu featuring scallops in passionfruit leche de tigre with tender garlic foam, and a veal terrine with layered potato. Dessert – a molten cheesecake with fresh berries – sets the tone before Oltra’s stargazing session, which transforms Montsant’s garden into an open-air observatory where planets, constellations and celestial stories come alive.

The cycle continues with Ana Zomeño, twice nominated for the Carles Santos Awards, presenting an intimate acoustic set on the 11^th of July. On the 18^th of July, The Covers Unmasked brings a high-energy repertoire spanning Bruno Mars, Dua Lipa, Michael Jackson, and Alejandro Sanz. The series concludes on the 25^th of July with Los Saitis, whose nostalgic rock en español tribute celebrates the 60s and 70s, echoing Xàtiva’s musical roots.

Each evening pairs with an exclusive menu by Carlos Beltrán, designed to reflect the atmosphere of the night. “We want every event to feel unrepeatable, also at the table,” says the chef. With tickets at €45 including a welcome drink, concert, and dinner, Montsant invites both locals and visitors to step into a summer experience where history, nature and culture converge.

In keeping with Montsant’s commitment to its local community, the Summer Concert Cycle also reflects the hotel’s ambition to reach younger audiences and open its doors to a wider public. For over a decade, these musical evenings have been part of Xàtiva’s cultural calendar, but this year’s edition takes a fresh approach by blending fine dining and live performances with new, accessible formats that appeal to a generation seeking unique experiences. As Cristina Aznar, director of Montsant, explains, “It’s a way for us to connect with people who might not normally visit, offering them a relaxed space where music, food, and nature come together under the stars.”
