With the seasons changing and the weather beginning to cool, our last chance to enjoy orange sunsets approaches. While beautiful sunset spots can be found in various locations within Valencia, just a short 20 to 25-minute drive outside of the city is Albufera Natural Park. The lagoon here makes for some stunning sunset pictures and ideal date spots. However, the highlight of the scene was undeniably the 5 euros (6 euros at sunset) boat rides that are offered at Mirador de L’Albufera.
Whether with a partner or with friends, this ride around the lagoon offers the best photo opportunities and a relaxing day trip or evening trip, depending on the time at which you visit. The 40-minute trip, accompanied by a tour guide and explanation sheet (if Spanish isn’t your first language) takes you along the lake, passing local wildlife and greenery.
For the sunset rides, the tour guide will stop the boat once you reach open water allowing for a pause to enjoy the Valencian sunset with no obstructions. Albufera can also be reached by the 25 bus from Puerta Del Mar in the city of Valencia.
