TANGO FESTIVAL VALENCIA 23 MAY-27 MAY

Valencia’s International Tango Festival is taking place between the 23^rd and 27^th of May, celebrating all the art and romance that Tango exhibits across different emblematic stages throughout city. For its 5^th annual edition, the festival will be celebrating Tango dancing through these rare and compelling concerts which will take place in the iconic Café Mercedes Jazz hall on the 23^rd, 24^th and 25^th May, and its closing ceremony on the 27^th May at the Teatre Talia.

On Thursday the 23^rd May, at 8:30pm, Tango Romántico will be performed at the Café Mercedes Jazz hall with Mariano Siccardi on the piano, Luis Caruana on the accordian, Emiliano Pérez on the violin, and guest singer from Argentina, Adriana Ghignone.

On Friday the 24^th of May at 8:30pm, Tango Nuestro will be performed at Café Mercedes Jazz with singer Mariel Martínez, Juan Esteban Cuacci on the piano and Sergio Menem on the guitar.

On Saturday the 25^th of May at 8:30pm, Giros del Exilio will be performed at Café Mercedes Jazz with Federico Nathan on the violin, Jacopo Mezzanotti on the guitar and Luca Bordonaro on the bass clarinet.

As the Closing Ceremony of Valenica’s International Tango Festival, at 8:30pm on Monday the 27^th May, the marvellous Gran Gala de Tango will be taking place in the Teatre Talia, featuring a variety of amazing singers, musicians, live dancers, guest artists and leading flamenco and copla figures.
