Maison Lupin, the fine drink and cocktail bar on the east side of the city, is serving up surprises with every new guest bartender they bring in. Thursday, June 19th, they will host Diego Godia, who will make his “Fuego del Sur” cocktail from 6:30 pm to 10:30 pm.
The bar, named for the high-class fictional thief Arsène Lupin, has had a series of guest bartenders who visit and create their masterful cocktails. This list has already included Iván Talens, who made a Mediterranean mix for the guests this past April. Next up was Sargis Kocharian, who created the Asia-inspired drink, the Japan Collins. Then there was Denys Cherkasov and his creation, the Kiwi Killer.
Diego Godia’s “Fuego del Sur” is a spicy mix of Indian flavours with some citrus and jalapeño notes to it. As the fourth member of this master bartender lineup, Godia’s designs will not disappoint. Godia has worked on the bar manager team for Vuelve Carolina and as a bar manager for StreetXO, and his signature cocktails are known for packing a punch.
The event itself brings the Maison Lupin to the next level. They are already known for serving their cocktails in ceramics that commemorate their namesake, his friends, foes, and victims. But bringing in the best bartenders in the business is what makes Lupin a spot not to be missed.
