The Valencian Society of Agriculture and Sports (RSVAD) has announced the recipients of the VI Edition of the Illustrious Awards. The awards recognise the important work that institutions and companies do in favour of agriculture and sports and will be presented in October at an institutional ceremony, and there are five categories of awards. Honorees include Fundación Pequeño Deseo, Fundación del Levante UD, Tomates Lis, Instituto de Investigación Sanitaria INCLIVA, and the Comité de Agricultura Ecológica de la Comunidad Valenciana (CAECV).

The awards were established five years ago to highlight the value of agriculture in its different aspects and recognise professionals and institutions improving this sector. The jury includes prominent figures such as Cristóbal Aguado and José Vicente Morata, Amparo Navarro, Salvador Zaragoza, José Francisco Ballester-Olmoos, and Manuel Sànchez Luengo. The Casino de Agricultura, since 1859, has promoted Valencian agricultural interests and continues to foster cooperation between academia and industry.

Past recipients include Valencia Basket Femenino, Colegio Imperial de Niños Huérfanos de San Vicente Ferrer, and ASFPLANT, among others, showcasing diverse contributions to agriculture, sports, and social welfare.
