Valencia CF Innovation Hub launches its second innovation programme for Start-ups. Businesses with innovative solutions for the areas of sport, medicine, intelligent stadium and fan engagement can register until 30 April.
The second edition of the programme organised by the Valencia CF Innovation Hub, in collaboration with Startup Valencia, is looking for start-ups linked to the Club’s innovation team to select eight projects that will have the opportunity to participate in the Innovation Program.
This is a season-long programme, which will begin in September and in which the selected companies will become part of the VCF ecosystem, will benefit from networking with companies associated with the BusinessClub and Startup Valencia, will receive advice and training from experts in each area and will have a workspace at the Mestalla stadium. “The programme will allow start-ups to have the opportunity to learn from the inside how professional sports clubs work, an environment where there is currently a great potential for innovation. In addition, it will contribute to the international positioning of the Valencian startup ecosystem through a global brand such as Valencia CF,” says Juan Luis Hortelano, president of Startup Valencia,
This way, the VCF Innovation Hub will be at the forefront of innovation in the sports sector, and more specifically in football, as having these young entrepreneurs will allow it to incorporate all of the innovations that are currently being developed.
Solver, Atribus, Blinkfire, ImagineAR, Podoactiva, Dawako, Hyperloop UPV, Bcoach and Soccer Hub are the companies that participated in the first edition of the programme and have had the opportunity to develop innovative projects in the VCF environment.
Registrations for the programme can be made through the web* until 30 April 2021.
