24/7 VALENCIA: Could you tell us more about ‘La Cabina’ 2021?

LA CABINA: “La Cabina screens the best of the international fiction medium-length film panorama. Our 2021’s Official Section consists of 12 medium-length films in competition from 8 countries, 5 Spanish premieres and 3 European premieres.”

24/7 VALENCIA: Explain to us about the ‘Amalgama’ section of the festival…

LA CABINA: “Amalgama is dedicated to non-fiction medium-length films, such as creative documentaries, in all languages. In 2021, 12 medium-length films have entered the competition, hailing from Finland, Italy, Spain, France, Mongolia, Russia and El Salvador, with 7 Spanish premieres.The Amalgama competition screenings, whose headquarters is La Nau, start from Wednesday the 10th to Saturday the 13th of November (both inclusive).”

24/7 VALENCIA: Tell us something about the Film Directors of the ‘Inèdits’section…

LA CABINA: “The Inèdits section rescues medium-length films from other times that could not be released in commercial cinemas. In 2021 we present five films by the following directors: Lucile Hadzihalilovic, Athina Rachel Tsangari, Adina Pintilie, Pier Paolo Pasolini and George A. Romero. The screenings of the films Inèdits, whose venue is La Filmoteca, will be screened on November 16 and 17.”

24/7 VALENCIA: Are there more sections to the film festival in 2021?

LA CABINA: “Yes, these include ‘Fashion Films 2021’, ‘Visuals’, ‘Aula Cabina’…”
