On Thursday 9th November, Valencia will be the first city to host the commercial premiere in cinemas of the film Bull Run.  This is a comedy documentary film by the Valencian filmmaker Ana Ramón Rubio. The premiere of the film is also the debut of a new Valencian distribution company in Spain; Carácter Films. After this premiere, the film crew will then travel to NYC, for its international premiere. Bull Run has been nominated for Best Documentary Film and Best Original Song; “Rich en bitcoin“, at the Berlanga Awards. And is a candidate in Spain for Best Documentary Film at Goya Awards of the Academy of Spanish Cinema, Forqué Awards, and Feroz Awards.

‘Bull Run’ is the title of the second feature film by filmmaker Ana Ramón Rubio.  It is an endearingly catastrophic comedy about the changing financial world. With Bull Run, for the first time, she places herself in front of the camera, becoming the subject of the study of her work. On this occasion, the director delves into the hostile world of crypto-currencies to analyse whether they will truly be the revolution that will change the financial system forever. It is a comical story of the director’s personal experience, in which that of a filmmaker gets hooked on crypto currency trading…something so very different from the art of filmmaking! In addition to introducing the viewer to the crypto ecosystem, Bull Run talks about market cycles, and the implications of the adopting of this new technology. The ‘Bull Run’  film is showing at ‘Cines Lys’  from 9th-16th November!
