Last Thursday, I was lucky to spend a relaxing evening under the summery orange skies of Valencia, whilst cruising along the Mediterranean coastline. After meeting the crew in the early evening at the north part of Valencia Marina, I received a warm welcome by the friendly staff. During my trip, the journey went smoothly with no delays. After arriving thirty minutes before departure, the boat set off at 6pm on the dot. As we searched around for a seat, we managed to get a comfy space on the nets. While it was too cold for us in March, this is a perfect spot for sunbathing during the summer months. We found the boat a perfect size: not too small that it might feel overcrowded, but small enough to feel close to the sea. After everyone settled in, the bar staff wandered around the boat to pour everyone a complementary drink of bubbly cava. This was cool and refreshing and it gave us a buzz whilst the warm air whistled in the wind. Throughout our journey, we enjoyed summery Spanish music and the peaceful sounds of the waves crashing in the sea. This was a delightful activity to do before heading towards the beach for some Spanish tapas.

To ensure you have the best possible experience, arrive early so you can enjoy the best seats available! Make sure you bring all necessary items such as comfortable clothing which is adequate for weather conditions. Particularly when it’s hot, remember a towel, bathing costume, suncream and a hat. Don’t forget to purchase a drinks voucher to save you time and money at the bar onboard! However, no fear if you have forgotten to purchase this voucher, extra drinks can be bought with cash too.
