The new ZETA BAR is characterised by its 12 taps of Valencian craft beer and a menu with the best local produce. The establishment is the result of the strategic alliance between the specialised distributor Bierwinkel and Zeta Beer, the doyenne of Valencia’s craft breweries. In the historic centre of Valencia, in the emblematic Plaza del Patriarca, Zeta Bar, a space dedicated entirely to local produce and beers from ZETA, the craft brewery based in the neighbouring town of Alboraya, is opening its doors. Exclusively locally produced, unfiltered and unpasteurised beverages will be at the centre of a beer offer that will be complemented by a selection of the best products from the Valencian markets depending on season and availability.
The best produce fresh from the Mercado de Colón and the freshest beer are the essence of Zeta Bar, which in addition to a terrace in the sun, promises authentic moments and memories. They will have non-stop cuisine and the produce, the best, without a doubt, as it will come straight from the Mercado de Colón first thing in the morning. Martín and Mary’s fishmongers will be serving the beach squid or the cuttlefish with mayonnaise. The Iberian ham or the gildas will be from Manglano and the cheeses too. The knife-cut potatoes, grilled mushrooms and tomatoes are from Aurelio, from Frutas y Verduras Fina (4 generations); the sausages are from Carnes Varea. This is a total guarantee of quality. Good produce and easy, homemade cooking. You can enjoy Potato omelette, warm and freshly made, coca de espencat, with authentic Oliva dough, sourdough bread to dip in the snail sauce, orange prepared with caramel.
From the ZETA brewery to the pedestrianised heart of the square, the freshly-tapped beer will travel no more than 15 minutes. A concise route with the aim of preserving as much as possible the organoleptic qualities of truly special beers, which are neither filtered nor pasteurised and are strongly committed to the experience of aroma and flavour. As soon as the brand’s characteristic black kegs land on the premises, they are transferred to an impressive state-of-the-art cold room that both refrigerates and preserves the beer so that the experience in the customer’s glass is absolutely complete. Just a few centimetres separate the cold kegs from the taps and an enviable service too.
We are talking about beers of classic and innovative styles, with the Valencian Lager as their flagship (their unmissable HELL). But there are beers of low and high fermentation, sophisticated or eccentric, roasted, smoked or brewed with huge amounts of aromatic hops or with freshly roasted and ground coffee. This is a fixed catalogue that will water the 12 taps of the space to accommodate all tastes and customers, where the central position of the bar concentrates a strong interest in the advice and prescription of the experts who lead the Zeta Bar.
