The new space opens in Alfafar (Valencia) and combines a guided tour among giant-scale dinosaurs with a unique all-you-can-eat buffet. Visiting a giant-scale dinosaur museum and, at the same time, enjoying an all-you-can-eat buffet with the world’s longest conveyor belt is now possible in Valencia! ‘Amazing Dinosaurios’ has opened its doors at Calle Alcalde José Puertes, 30, opposite the MN4 shopping centre in Alfafar, just 10 minutes from the city, and presents itself as a unique family experience that combines a museum and a gastronomic experience in one place.

‘Amazing Dinosaurios’ is the second buffet restaurant from the Amazing group, which already has Amazing Mota in Valencia, and represents a novelty in the restaurant sector. The space features a museum filled with moving dinosaurs, where visitors can take a guided tour through the fauna and flora, specially designed for children passionate about these reptiles. After the educational experience, families head to the all-you-can-eat buffet, where the star attraction is a record-breaking 320-metre double conveyor belt, distributed across four aisles. A wide variety of Asian dishes, designed for all ages, pass along it.

The Origin

Eric Yan, owner of this pioneering themed restaurant in Spain, explains that ‘Amazing Dinosaurios’ is not just a restaurant or just a museum: “It’s the evolution of an idea that’s been in my head for years, born from a passion for robotics, innovation, and family experiences.” In 2018, Eric opened Spain’s first robotic restaurant, a milestone that marked a turning point in his career. From this technological drive came concepts like Amazing Mota, which opened last year with the first double-level conveyor belt, and now ‘Amazing Dinosaurios’, which represents the second generation of conveyor belts. As for the dinosaurs, this theme has a very personal origin: the inspiration came from his five-year-old son, a huge reptile enthusiast. From there began an international search that lasted over a year and a half to find unique and interactive pieces.

The result is a space with 21 robotic dinosaurs, some of them large-scale, equipped with movement and sound, making it the restaurant with the most dinosaurs in Europe. The experience is enhanced by original lighting: lights and lanterns of various shapes decorate both the entrance tunnel and the main room, creating an immersive atmosphere. In the centre of the restaurant, a waterfall with one of these reptiles integrated into it is particularly striking, in addition to five different dinosaurs that children can climb on. These correspond to various real species, including: Tyrannosaurus Rex, Velociraptor, Brachiosaurus, Triceratops, and Dilophosaurus.

Family Dining

The dinosaur-themed tour is complemented by access to the all-you-can-eat buffet, specially designed for families. The culinary offerings include nearly 150 items circulating on a conveyor belt, clearly tailored to children’s tastes: there are few raw products and an abundance of hot dishes and milder options like rice and noodles.

Among the most popular dishes are the duck bao bun, gyozas, seared salmon nigiri, and lemon chicken. These bites move along the conveyor belt, which is divided into two sections: one for hot dishes and one for cold dishes. Desserts are also included in the various menu options, and drinks are unlimited. The restaurant also offers special “off-belt” dishes. This entertaining experience lasts approximately 90 minutes.

The project plans to gradually incorporate new recipes, ensuring that each visit is unique, while maintaining the philosophy of constant innovation already practiced at Amazing Mota.

 An Experience on the Rise

‘Amazing Dinosaurios’ was created with the aim of becoming a global experience, transcending children’s fascination with dinosaurs and establishing itself as a leading family leisure destination in Europe, where this type of theme is already very popular. The venue has a capacity of 235 people and, for the moment, receives around 1,000 visitors per day.

Entry includes a meal at the buffet, unlimited drinks, access to the ball pit and the museum experience, while additional services, such as riding the dinosaurs, cost an extra 5 euros. ‘Amazing Dinosaurios’ is that place where everything happens, except time, which stands still for a while so families can learn about the distant past while enjoying a gastronomic adventure.
