CCCC: “Martin Parr (Epsom, United Kingdom, 1952) is an internationally renowned photographer, a member of the Magnum Agency since 1994. His images are a critique of the system from within, showing the problems of our time with an ironic gaze capable of documenting the kitsch side of the everyday.

This retrospective at the CCCC traces the career of this singular photographer through some of his iconic series, between 1975 and 2019. Parr accumulates images with which he shows us the fragmented vision of a reality dominated by consumerism, mass tourism, junk food, superficiality, classism or the hyper-representation of the “I”, as signs of an era that continues to this day.”
