‘The Terminal Hub’ is a unique building that offers more than 500 workstations for creative-minded individuals looking for the ideal place to put ideas into action. Located in the Marina de Valencia, the Hub sports dream-worthy views of the crystal clear water of the marina, with several yachts docked outside. Corporations, startups, specialists, institutions, associations, students, innovation players, and technological projects get some of their best and brightest work completed at the Terminal Hub.
The space has a cafeteria, open-concept rooms, smaller private workstations, locker rooms, an exceptional restaurant (Front), and welcoming staff. The rooms are all key-card operated, so individuals of the 81 companies stationed there feel safe and secure while working in the building and enjoying views of the Mediterranean. The building was revitalized from the Old Maritime Station, and the architecture inside is stunning, depicting the Hub’s dedication to innovation and talent.
Recently, the Terminal Hub invited press from around Valencia to attend an event where its CEO and President spoke to journalists about the mission and vision of the Terminal Hub, answered questions, gave a tour of the facilities, and offered cocktails and appetizers from the Hub’s restaurant during mingling at the end.
CEO Quique Calabuig, and President at Valencia Innovation District Ángela Pérez, spoke to the group at the press event. During the introduction, they highlighted that the Terminal Hub has 572 workstations and an 80% occupancy rate for 81 companies focusing on the technology sector. The two also discussed how Valencia was an ideal destination for entrepreneurs, investors, and digital nomads thanks to its numerous attractive lifestyle features, making the Terminal Hub the perfect spot.
Then, the event moved into a walking tour of the facilities. During this time, Ángela and Quique discussed each unique space and showcased their stunning views of the Marina. More than 16,000 people have passed through these spaces in just the past six months, and 130 events have taken place, boosting networking and creativity within the space.
After receiving a complete tour of the space, it was time for Fernando Aliño, CEO of the El Alto Group, and Main Chef Juan Torres to present the gastronomic proposal of Front, the Hub’s restaurant. The restaurant prides itself on its cuisine prioritizing local produce and organic, locally sourced, healthy ingredients. The Front is another way ‘The Hub’ embodies unique talent and innovation, with both traditional Valencian dishes, and contemporary ones from the Mediterranean Sea. Attendees had the opportunity to try some of Juan’s truly impressive dishes during the event. Signature cocktails paired beautifully with tapas, seafood bites, paella, and desserts. The entire experience showcased the Terminal Hub’s ability to bring creativity to life, and how it fosters individuals to do the same in their work.
