Cheesecake is a universally beloved sweet treat. This is especially true in Spain; the dessert originates in the Mediterranean and makes for a fantastic sweet treat after dining at a restaurant. For a nice sit-down experience with a special slice of cheesecake, visit Timoteo. But what makes this cake so special? It has a touch of salt that blends with the creamy texture, a hallmark of the restaurant. It’s hard to say no to their cheesecake even after a meal! This is one of Timoteo’s hallmarks, a project led by Chimo, Rico, Pablo, and David, who opened their second location, Teodora, in the heart of Canyamelar just a few months ago.

The cheesecake at La Pappardella hasn’t changed in over 2 decades. They’ve had their iconic cheesecake on the menu for 21 years. The recipe was originally inspired by a small New York shop. It has a crisp biscuit base crust with a smooth cream cheese filling, and diners have the option to choose between a pistachio cream with Nutella or blueberry cream with an amaretti crumble. A tried-and-true scrumptious cheesecake.

If I haven’t got you on the hook to try one of Valencia’s cheesecakes, the homemade cheesecake at Al Grano with a touch of aged sheep’s cheese and ice cream too. The intense flavour of the cheese pairs well with the cold, tempered ice cream. Perfect to pair with after a fantastic meal at Al Grano, where Chef Carles López works with top-quality products, offering a menu focused on rice dishes and fideuàs, but also featuring many other creations such as various cocas (flatbreads) and beef tartare, among others.
