AWARD-WINNING DANCER ‘KARIME AMAYER’ WILL PERFORM AT TEATRE TALIA ON FEBRUARY 21!

Karime Amayer, a relation of one of the greatest Flamenco dancers of all time, Carmen Amayer, will perform at Teatre Talia on Tuesday 21st, February. The award-winning dancer undeniably carries in her blood the heritage of ‘La Capitana’. From the day she was born in Mexico, dance has always been a big part of her life. She was raised by her mother who was a dancer and studied at the academy that Mercedes Amaya managed in Mexico DF. Her performance on the 21st is part of a series of shows via Panorama Flamenco.

Karime Amayer has previously performed at the prestigious tablao “El Flamenco” in Japan, as well as  the 46th Annual Members Conference in New York. Sharing the stage with Tomatito, Los Losada, Farruquito and Gerardo Nuñez, Karime Amayer has also performed with dancers like  Maria Pages, Israel and Pastora Galván, Antonio Canales, Manuela Carrasco, Rafael and Adela Campallo, Torombo, Rafael del Carmen, Mario Maya’s company, Antonio ‘El Pipa’ Farruco family, among many others. Karmine Amaya has toured in countries like Japan, Mexico, USA, China and Europe and she has also participated in a number of different festivals, including Quito Flamenco Festival in Ecuador; Festival de Arte Flamenco de Mont de Marsan in France; Festival de Arte Flamenco in Monterrey, Mexico; Festival de Jerez; Bienal de Sevilla; Suma Flamenca and Festival Flamenco Internacional de Albuquerque in New Mexico, United States.
