Decorating the streets of the colourful barrio of Benimaclet in Valencia is their ‘Mercadillo’, which is open every Friday from 9am to 2pm. The street market is easy to find, located just around the corner from the Benimaclet tram station. The colourful display of clothes, jewellery, plants and shoes means it’s a very easy spot to find! Follow the market all through the streets and it will eventually lead to the main Plaza of Benimaclet.

With traders announcing new bargain prices frequently throughout the morning, highlighting new deals such as buying two for the price of one, you can be sure you’re getting the most for your money. If you’re feeling brave, you can have a go at putting your bargaining skills to the test! All of the stall owners are extremely friendly and are happy to help you find your market gem!
