A Brief History of Aloe Vera

From very ancient times Aloe Vera was used as a medicinal plant. Among others the Greeks, Romans and Egyptians left us historical testimonies, which refer to the miraculous powers of this plant.

However, its use was limited by the difficulty of conservation of the juice, which was very unstable and easily oxidizable. It was not until 1959 that this juice was finally stabilized. From that moment on, the scale of research and application of its medicinal properties truly began.

The results obtained so far are spectacular, based on numerous tests under the control of the F.D.A. (U.S.A Food and Drug Administration). It is recognized as a biogenic stimulator (antibiotic, astringent, coagulating agent, pain inhibitor, healing and stimulating cell growth). Its innocuousness is also recognized, being able to be administered in conjunction with any other treatment and without any side effects.

What is Aloe Vera for?

Not all Aloe Vera products are the same. All wines are not the same either, the price difference between the cheap wines for 1€ a bottle and the quality wines for 21€ (without sulfites) is abysmal.

The main difference lies in the percentage of pure Aloe coming directly from the plant, that has been used to manufacture the product. Our first ingredient is always pure Aloe, stabilized and coming directly from the plant.
