LIVE JAZZ AT ‘TEATRO PRINCIPAL’ …. ‘ALBERT PALAU OCTET’ ON JULY 14th 2021

##XXIV València Jazz Festival
ALBERT PALAU OCTET
“The music of Miguel Asins Arbó”.
In commemoration of Berlanga Year

The jazz pianist Albert Palau presents with this project his vision of the film music of Miguel Asins Arbó, one of the great composers of soundtracks in the history of Spanish cinema. Palau explains that Arbó’s music “reflects the character of each film, and moves between the simplicity and effectiveness of some humorous themes and the sophistication of others that demonstrate a great compositional technique”. For him the “adaptation to the language of contemporary jazz has been a challenge”. Together with his Octet, formed by some of the main names of the Valencian scene, and with guest artists they will perform this concert on the occasion of ‘Berlanga Year’ and with jazz and soundtracks more united than ever.

#Cultururasegura: seating reduced to 75%; staggered entry, mask, gel, temperature taking, internal registration of name and phone number to be able to reach you in case of an outbreak (not to be used for any other purpose). The programmes are printed, but also in QR if you do not want to touch paper. Payment by credit card is recommended.
